Issue #6 - Considering a change in the new year?
Let's wrap up the year with resources and links to job openings at some of the best workplaces for parents
Hi there,
We blinked, and December showed up at our doorstep! To say this year has been interesting is the best way I can summarize the last twelve months.
We've dealt with a shortage of tampons, formula, and children's Tylenol (happening now). Intense childcare waitlists (some parents waiting between 12 and 18 months for a spot to open up). RSV and the flu. Layoffs (primarily within the tech industry) and quiet quitting.
Have you or someone you know been laid off? Or are you thinking about making a change? The great news is that the U.S. BLS reported over 10.3 million job openings at the end of October. Plenty to go around for those seeking. If this is you or someone you know, then you will appreciate the last issue of the year. Let's go!
xx
Ingrid
